Supported browsers and installing SalesLogs on a computer

Open SalesLogs in an up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Safari, and install it as an app on your computer.

SalesLogs runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download. For the best experience, use the latest version of Google Chrome and open SalesLogs from https://app.saleslogs.com. You can also install SalesLogs as an app so it opens in its own window. For phones and tablets, see Install SalesLogs on an iPhone or iPad.

Use app.saleslogs.com

The only current address for SalesLogs is https://app.saleslogs.com. Older bookmarks that point to login.saleslogs.com or live.saleslogs.com no longer work, and neither do bookmarks that jump straight to a dashboard page.

A bookmark like this is a common cause of blank screens and out-of-date figures. To fix it:

  1. Right-click your SalesLogs bookmark and click Edit to check which address it opens.
  2. If it is not https://app.saleslogs.com, delete the bookmark.
  3. Go to https://app.saleslogs.com and log in.
  4. Bookmark the page, or install SalesLogs as an app using the steps below.

Supported browsers

BrowserSupport
Google ChromeRecommended
Microsoft EdgeSupported
Safari (Mac)Supported

Always use the latest version of your browser. There is no minimum version, but an out-of-date browser often causes problems that look like a SalesLogs fault, such as the log not loading or not updating. Other browsers, such as Firefox, are not supported. If you do not have Chrome, download it from https://www.google.com/chrome/.

Keep your browser up to date

To check that Chrome is up to date:

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots menu in the top right corner.
  2. Click Help, then About Google Chrome.
  3. Wait while Chrome checks for updates and installs them.

Note: if your computer is managed by your IT team, Chrome may not be able to update itself. Ask your IT team to push the update to your computer.

Install SalesLogs in Google Chrome

Installing SalesLogs as an app gives you a shortcut that opens SalesLogs in its own window. Always install from app.saleslogs.com, not from a bookmark to another page.

  2. Click More (the three dots) in the top right corner of the browser.
  3. Click Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app…

Example to record in Tango: Install SalesLogs as an app in Google Chrome. Start on app.saleslogs.com in Chrome, click More, Cast, save, and share, Install page as app, Install, then pin it to the taskbar. Replace this block with the Tango video embed code, then the interactive embed code.
